A great start to the season with what has always been considered a tough game with very physical opposition. There were some good passing moves in this game and although it got physical the team concentrated on the football and the result shows how much the first team have improved over the last couple of seasons. Goal of the game was undoubtedly Steve Aldred's 25 yard screamer into the top corner to open the scoring
